Bliss Prophetic Gathering affirms the following Statement of Faith as the foundational beliefs upon which the ministry stands. These doctrines are based on the Holy Scriptures and guide our teaching, practice, and mission.
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, sovereign, loving, and the Creator of heaven and earth.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross as a sacrifice for humanity’s sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again in power and glory.
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, individuals receive forgiveness of sins, are born again by the Holy Spirit, and become children of God.
We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, indwells them at salvation, empowers them for godly living, and distributes spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church.
We believe in water baptism by immersion for believers as an outward expression of inward faith in Christ. We also believe in the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns.
We believe in the continuation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit including prophecy, healing, miracles, tongues, and interpretation of tongues, operating in order and submission to Scripture.
We believe that divine healing and deliverance are provided through the finished work of Jesus Christ and are available to believers today through faith, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the universal Church, the Body of Christ, composed of all believers, and in the importance of the local church for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and ministry.
We believe believers are called to live holy, righteous, and Spirit-led lives demonstrating love, integrity, humility, and obedience to God’s Word.
We believe in the Great Commission calling believers to preach the Gospel, make disciples of all nations, and demonstrate the love and power of Christ.
We believe in the visible and bodily return of the Lord Jesus Christ. The saved will experience eternal life with God and the lost eternal separation.
